38 Weeks - Only 2 to go!

I had my weekly check-up today. Things are continuing to go great. Baby's heart rate was 136 and my belly continues to measure right on track at 38 cm. Today was a better visit than last time because the OB told me I am now 75% effaced and almost 2 cm dilated. He still can't predict when I will go into labor but he did say that any progress I continue to make now means my actual labor will be shorter when it does start. YAY!

My belly is like a torpedo! Overall I am hanging in there. During the past week it seems as if the 1st trimester has returned with nausea and indigestion. It's not too bad though...just noticeable.

This weekend I had to miss my great friend, Carrie Paulus', wedding. I really wish I could have been there to celebrate with her but I guess you can't plan everything. Good luck to Carrie and Seth, the newlyweds!

The nursery is also almost complete. We are still waiting for some name letters that Tom's sister, Cheryl, is painting for us but one she can't find one of the letters at the store. I have seen the others though and they look awesome!
